Turkey jerky is a type of food made by trimming turkey meat of fat, cutting it into strips, and drying it as to prevent spoilage.
Appearance[]
Turkey jerky is a food that comes in light and dark brown strips, and resembles bacon. It comes in a purple bag that has the face of a turkey on it.
Role in episode[]
When McGee, Gretchen, and Squirt are escaping from Camp Lakebottom to go to Camp Sunny Smiles, Squirt sees some fish and tries to feed them some turkey jerky, before a shark tries to bite Squirt. Gretchen later throws the bag of turkey jerky into the boat Armand, Sawyer, Rosebud are in, which causes the shark from earlier to jump into and eventually destroy their boat.
Trivia[]
- It is one of the few real-life food items to appear on the show.
- Turkeys would later become a major plot point in the episode "Tur-Keepin' it Real," though turkey jerky itself doesn't appear in the episode.
