Phil Lafrance is the Director and co-founder of Jam Filled Entertainment, a full service animation studio and creative shop. Phil has 22 years of experience in the animation industry and received his formal training in classical animation at Algonquin College. Phil quickly found he had a passion for storyboarding. His board work became instantly recognized by studios for consistently high quality drawings and outrageous humour. He became a key person in the rise of what is now a leading Canadian animation studio by helping to develop their Toon Boom animation workflow and working as an Animation Director, Assistant Director and Director on several projects for Jetix, Cartoon Network, TELETOON, YTV, Nat Geo and others. Created "Crash Canyon" (TELETOON) "Numb Chucks," The SuBbs," "Slam Jam" and "Chuckles and Knuckles."[1]
